I recently had a lovely stay at this hotel. the location was perfect, just a short walk from the center and very close to the shore. The views across the Baltic Sea were absolutely stunning. Secondly, the staff at the hotel were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. Lastly, the breakfast provided was delicious, with a nice selection of options and served in a dining room with amazing views on the sea. I couldn't have asked for a better start to my day.
All was great, no complaints whatsoever.

Close to the water and castle, with a quiet feel. the breakfast buffet was really quite good for the money, with a lot of variety.
The hotel really failed in terms of comfort and customer service. the rooms were cramped, old-fashioned, and cold, with some really outdated amenities and a musty feel.

Cozy hotel, warm and welcoming host, personal attention, good breakfast with fresh bread and croissants, nice views from dining room.
Could not be improved in any way.

The hotel has an amazing sea view from the breakfast room, which makes you want to stay there forever. The location is perfect, really close to restaurants and shops. , the beds are super comfortable, which gave us a really great night's sleep after a long day exploring the area.
The decoration of the room was outdated, which made it feel a bit old-fashioned. The bathroom was really small and cramped, which was not as comfortable as we had expected.

If you dream of a hotel located on a beautiful avenue close to the water front, this place is for you. It's located just a few minutes away from the main pedestrian area, which is perfect if you fancy a nice dinner. the hotel provides a cozy breakfast room with an amazing view, ideal to enjoy a variety of delicacies before exploring the city.
One aspect that could be improved is the size of the bathroom in some rooms, as it may not be suitable for taller or larger people.

The room I stayed in at Hotel Sonderborg was surprisingly comfortable and had a beautiful view. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the center. I also appreciated the decent number of TV channels available in multiple languages. The breakfast, although not extensive, was tasty and satisfying. I would recommend this hotel.
